Prof. Stenmark leads a research team at EMV, Lund university. He focuses on structure-based drug design, both in the development of small molecule drugs targeting cancer and in the engineering of protein drugs (e.g. neurotoxins). The main methods used are X-ray crystallography and single particle cryo-EM.
