CryoEM for Life Sciences at Lund University

Services

Sample preparation: CryoEM at Lund University has a sample preparation lab installed with Mark IV Vitrobot (Thermo Fisher) to prepare cryo grids. Samples can be prescreened by a negative stain, and the cryo grids can be shipped to another facility.

Data processing

The cryo-EM facility at Lund University has two workstations, Abisko and Lofoten for image processing and sample optimization, and 3D processing and model building using software packages, like Relion and Cryosparc. Data processing can also be done on local and national supercomputing resources.
